Councillor Jason Rust, Parliamentary Candidate for Edinburgh South West and Convener of Pentlands Neighbourhood Partnership led a large team of volunteers including local MSP David McLetchie and Baillie Alastair Paisley in a clean up operation as part of a social action campaign near the Union Canal at Clovenstone, Wester Hailes.

 

Councillor Rust said, "Small actions like this can make a big difference to the amenity of an area. It is important that elected politicians take a lead on working to improve local communities and ensure a clean, green and safe environment."
