In difficult economic times for people across Scotland and the United Kingdom, Richard Cook is taking positive action to help those struggling to find a job during the current recession here in East Renfrewshire. Many of the people suffering as a result of job losses include those who have not been in the market for a job for many years and young people looking for their first job. For these people some of the skills and techniques required to help find employment do not come naturally and East Ren Jobs Club can help them to reduce the time it takes to find a job.
East Ren Jobs Club will meet once a week as a meeting place for those looking for help in the jobs market. Acting as a self help and support group it is Richard’s intention to provide help with production of CVs, writing application letters for jobs and providing a few interview techniques. East Ren Jobs Club will also write to every local business on a regular basis so that any job vacancies in our local community are advertised to members of East Ren Jobs Club as they become available. Finally it is hoped that local business men and women as well as experts in recruitment will visit East Ren Jobs Club to give talks on how to get a job and the skills employers are looking for.
So if you want to find a job and believe East Ren Jobs Club can help please contact Richard Cook on richard.cook@eastrentories.co.uk or call him on 07951362892.
